Motor Operator

240V and 415V Motors typically used on industrial and some domestic applications. Provided with a safety brake (anti fall-back device) fitted to the barrel assembly. Drive chain or gear drive, un-sprung and spring assisted arrangements.

Emergency hand chains activated and operable from high and floor level as well as hand crank if required, all provided as standard.

Electric Direct Drive Safedrive

240V and 415V Typically used on industrial applications.Integral safety brake (anti fall-back device) fitted within the motor gearbox protects the vertically opening door from falling. A direct drive motor eliminates the need for counterbalance springs, drive chains or gear trains. Ideal for high usage applications such as industrial premises, car parks or loading bays. Emergency hand chains, activated and operable from floor level are provided as standard.

Electric Tubular Motor Roller Shutter Doors

240 volt, single-phase tubular motors, typically used on shop-front, office or domestic low use applications. The motor is mounted within the roller mechanism, which reduces the amount of space required to accommodate the shutter box assembly.

Safety brakes (anti fall-back device) mandatory since 2011 under the CPR (Construction product regulations) are fitted to comply with European regulations of failure of the one balancing component.

Emergency hand operation is provided as standard via a hook and eye style hand crank handle.

Hand Chain Operated Roller Shutter Door

Used on smaller to medium sized openings that are either too large for push up, or where there is no electrical supply available. Hand chains operate either a gear driven or chain driven barrel assembly. Opening and closing is assisted by an helical counterbalanced spring within the barrel tube assembly. On doors exerting more than 25kg, a Safety Anti Fall Back Device is fitted to protect the fall back of the vertically moving door should a fault occur in the balancing components.

Typically used on smaller openings such as doorways, windows, serveries or bars. Both operable and lockable from both sides of the opening. Opening and closing assisted by an helical counterbalanced spring within the barrel tube assembly.
