Foam Filled Insulated Aluminium Roller Shutters: Different size lath profiles 37 mm (3400 mm max width) 55 mm (4000 mm max width) 55 mm Hard Foam infill (5000 mm max width) 77 mm (5500 mm max width) allows installations to suit wider opening applications.

For Domestic medium to low security applications, which could include bars and serveries, a Double Skinned Foam filled aluminium lath provides a strong visual deterrent with the added benefit of excellent sound and insulation properties. For enhanced security, an hard foam variant is available. Where light and ventilation is required, there is an option of a vented lath profile where the vents are punched into the lath joint which allows light and ventilation to pass through the curtain whilst the shutter in the closed position. When the shutter is in its fully locked down position the vents are closed off.

Colours and Finishes: Standard curtain colours – Mill finish, White and Brown, Doors can be powder coated or even anodised at an additional cost.

Twin Walled Extruded Aluminium Roller Shutters: Different size lath profiles 37 mm (4000 mm max width) and 77 mm (6000 mm max width) Higher Security Domestic, Office, Retail and Commercial applications. Exceptionally strong profiled lath, enables the curtain to wrap into a small, unobtrusive shutter box ranging from 165 mm to 305 mm depending on size and application.

Bottom Rail: Extruded aluminium profiled bottom rail which slides onto the bottom of the door curtain. Bottom rails can also be fitted with an extruded aluminium reinforcing angle for added security. Manually operated doors are supplied with a key operated recessed centre lock with fully enclosed locking bars within the bottom rail profile for added security.

Guide Sections: Extruded Aluminium guide channel incorporating a rear box section for fixing and reinforcement, complete with a high density 5 mm pile brush seal inserts. Available in a range of depth and sizes to suit various security, size and fitting applications.

Shutter box/Enclosure: Die Cast Aluminium and zinc plated steel end-plates ranging between 165 mm to 305 mm depending upon size and application, available in white, brown or powder coated finish to a standard RAL/BS colour. Enclosing the shutter box is a two piece aluminium housing cover, available in white, brown or powder coated to a standard RAL/BS colour.

Operation: Various operating methods are available depending upon size and individual applications:

• Manual/Geared Belt
• Rod and Crank Handle
• Push up/Pull Down via counterbalance spring assist, complete with key lock to bottom rail
• 240 V electrical tubular motor, with or without manual override

Safety: As Standard on all shutters fitted over doorways and shutters fitted over servery and Reception areas where out of balance static force exceeds 200 newtons, an Anti-Fall back device will be fitted in the event of a serious mechanical failure.

Security: The curtain is attached to the steel barrel using a patented Anti-Lift Auto-lock curtain attachment device to prevent the curtain from been forcibly lifted when the door is in its fully closed position.
