To replace and update 3no fast acting doors of this large steel stockists. The doors work in a very vulnerable environment due to the nature of the clients business and are often exposed to prevailing winds. The doors are an integral part of the clients workplace to minimise fluctuations in temperature effecting the stock and to maintain a comfortable working environment of personnel. 

We opted for a ‘B’ drive fast acting door with a zip retention system to offer class 5 wind protection of up to 150mph. The doors do not have any rigid components within the door blade therefore any heavy impact will pull the curtain from the side guides where they are able to re-insert themselves upon the next operating cycle. Additional photo-cell safety light beams are installed to either side of the door openings to increase the door safety zone to allow the door more time to react to approaching hazards as well as personnel protection.
